Memory of Bali, Indonesia. 24th - 28th May 2009
The temples at Uluwatu are some of the holiest and most spectacular in Bali. Perched atop steep cliffs overlooking the Bali Sea to the south, the interiors of the temples are closed to non-Hindus. Uluwatu Temple is one of Balinese Hindu Temple located right on the petrifying hill with the crevasse exist in the right and left side. Uluwatu Temple is one of Sad Khayangan (6 biggest temple in Bali) owns magnificent view of the Indian Ocean and sunset as a backdrop. This temple is very amazing where the location is right on the narrow peninsula with deep seawater under it. There area also the group of monkeys dwelling the small forest around the temple and play around the temple area. The monkeys here were much more aggressive than those that live in Monkey Forest in Ubud. They would rush up to you and try to grab things out of your hand, or even out of your pockets or bags, and were quite scary.
